ABOUT TRAIL DOGS
Founded in Pemberton in 2018, Trail Dogs built its reputation by providing enriching group walks in nature for dogs of all breeds and energy levels. Under new ownership since 2026, Trail Dogs has grown into a full-service canine care business, continuing to offer its signature group walks while expanding to include individual walks, professional dog grooming, in-home pet-sitting and boarding. Our mission remains the same: to provide reliable and compassionate care that keeps dogs happy and healthy.

GROOMING
Every dog is unique, and so is every grooming appointment. Rather than charging based on breed or a fixed grooming package, Trail Dogs offers professional grooming services at an hourly rate of $50 + GST per hour.
This approach ensures that you only pay for the time and care your dog actually requires. A well-maintained dog with a short coat may take considerably less time than a heavily matted or thick-coated dog of the same breed, making hourly pricing the fairest option for everyone.

Trail Dogs offers flexible boarding options while you’re away, tailored to your dog’s individual needs, personality, and routine. Our goal is to provide the safest possible experience while keeping your dog’s stay as comfortable and low-stress as possible, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

TEAM
Sophie Hebert
Originally from Montreal, Sophie began her career as a Registered Nurse, spending several years working in critical care before deciding it was no longer her mountain to climb. Her love for dogs and the outdoors led her to join the Trail Dogs team as a part-time dog walker in 2024. After two years with the company, she proudly took over ownership and operations in 2026.
While preparing for this new chapter, Sophie completed a Business Administration Certificate at BCIT. She also completed several months of one-on-one grooming apprenticeship under former Trail Dogs owner Rebecca and is currently working toward her Certified Professional Groomer (CPG) and Advanced Professional Groomer (APG) certifications through International Professional Groomers, as well as certifications in Professional Dog Walking through Good Dog Academy and Dog-Care Fundamentals through Pet Sitters International. She also maintains a current Pet First Aid certification.
Sophie is happy to welcome dogs into the comfort of her own home for boarding or provide in-home pet sitting. Her goal is to give every dog the same level of care, safety, and attention she would want for her own.
Abigail
Born and raised in Pemberton, Abigail developed a love for dogs and the outdoors from an early age. Before joining the Trail Dogs team in 2025, she gained valuable experience working with a dog walking company on Vancouver Island, where she built strong skills in canine handling and care.
Abigail is currently working toward her Dog-Care Fundamentals certification through Pet Sitters International, as well as her Pet First Aid certification.
When she’s not out on the trails, Abigail is happy to provide in-home pet sitting services, giving dogs the comfort of staying in their own familiar environment while their families are away.
Charles-Antoine
Charles-Antoine joined the Trail Dogs team in 2024 as a dog walker and has become an invaluable member of the team through years of hands-on experience.
He is currently working toward his Dog-Care Fundamentals certification through Pet Sitters International, as well as his Pet First Aid certification.
Charles-Antoine also offers boarding in the comfort of his own home. Having welcomed dogs into his home for several years, he has earned the trust of many local families by providing a safe, relaxed, and home-like environment where dogs can settle in as part of the family.
